The programmable controller will not go back to the RUN operating mode:

How to perform an overall reset without a programmer
1. Set the operating mode switch to STOP.
2. Remove the battery.
3. Set the ON/OFF switch to "0".
4. Set the ON/OFF switch to "1".
5. Install a battery.
Contact your local Siemens representative if the above measures are ineffective.

The battery was installed or changed when the programmable controller
was turned off.
Perform an overall reset and load the program again.
