Description
Power Alarm
In normal mode, this LED indicates normal operation in the
power subsystem. It will turn off in the case of a failure event,
such as a loss of redundancy.
Minor Alarm
This LED warns that the platform has a minor system fault but
can still continue to operate. This is defined as any non-critical
BMC sensor event being alerted or the chassis intrusion sensor
being triggered.
Major Alarm
This LED is not utilized in Advantech's default configuration. It
is intended for a customer defined function, e.g. to indicate an
application / system software errors.
Critical Alarm
A critical system fault is an error or event that is detected by
the system which has a significant impact to the system. In this
case, the system cannot continue to operate or is operating in
a non redundant power or cooling configuration.
Conditions that trigger this LED include:
Processor (thermal trips, internal errors, and caches)
Memory (single and multi-bit errors, ECC errors)
Temperature (baseboard and processor temperature)
Fan (failure, speed irregularities)
Voltage (standby, baseboard, and processors)
PSU failure
