2.3.9 PCI Express (PCIe) Gen3 Expansion

The SKY-8100 supports a total of two PCIe extension slots for 2 full height / full length
PCIe cards. Each extension slot supports a PCIex8 gen3 interface.
Advantech supplies power cables for 3pin and 4pin power connectors on PCIe cards
compliant to the PCIe CEM specification. Please refer to
information.
- PCI Express* Port(s) are Fully-Compliant to the PCI Express* Base Specification,
Revision 3.0 (PCIe 3.0)
- Support for PCI Express* Gen 3 (8.0 GT/s), Gen 2 (5.0 GT/s), and Gen 1 (2.5 GT/s)
- 16 Lanes of PCIe Expansion Gold Finger for General Purpose PCIe Devices
- PCIe x16 Expansion Signals Can Be Separate to Two x8 Port.
- Each x8 Port Can Be Negotiated Down to x4, x2, or x1
