8.3 Backposts Height Modification
The XL5 / XL5 CI wheelchair offers 3 different sizes of adjustable
and swingaway backposts:
They can be ajustable by 12" to 15", 16" to 20" or 21" to 25".
To modify the height, follow these steps:
Remove screw A with a 10 mm wrench.

To get the desired height, pull the backposts
up or down as needed.
3.
Replace screw A, tighten.
8.4 Dynamic Backrest Option Angle Modification
Same as 8.1.
8.5 Dynamic Backrest Option Height Modification
Same as 8.2
8.6 Dynamic Backrest Option Stiffness Adjustment
Adjust the desired tension using handle A.

Screw (clockwise) for a stiffer response.
3.
Unscrew (counter clockwise) for a softer response.
4.
Make sure to adjust both sides as desired.
