8.3 Backposts Height Modi cation
The XL5 / XL5 CI wheelchair o ers 3 di erent sizes of adjustable
and swingaway backposts:
They can be ajustable by 12" to 15", 16" to 20" or 21" to 25".
To modify the height, follow these steps:
Remove screw A with a 10 mm wrench.

To get the desired height, pull the backposts
up or down as needed.

Replace screw A, tighten.
8.4 Dynamic Backrest Option Angle Modi cation
Same as 8.1.
8.5 Dynamic Backrest Option Height Modi cation
Same as 8.2
8.6 Dynamic Backrest Option Sti ness Adjustment
Adjust the desired tension using handle A.

Screw (clockwise) for a sti er response.
3.
Unscrew (counter clockwise) for a softer response.
4.
Make sure to adjust both sides as desired.
