6.2 Connections
Grounding
Conductive panels and doors on control cabinets must be grounded. The doors of the control
cabinet must be connected to the control cabinet using a grounding cable.

Connect the reference potential to the equipotential bonding strip in the control cabinet.
Circuit breaker
A suitable circuit breaker must be connected upstream of SENTRON PAC4200 in order to
permit disconnection of the device from the power supply.
● The circuit breaker must be mounted close to the device and be easily accessible to the
user.
● The circuit breaker must be marked as the circuit breaker for the device.
Phase-synchronous connection
The phases must be connected phase-synchronously. The specified terminal assignment
cannot be changed by changing the parameters.
Supply voltage fuse protection
Damage to the device due to non-fused supply voltage
Damage to the device and the equipment may occur.
Secure the supply voltage with an approved (UL / IEC) fuse:
• SENTRON PAC4200 with wide-voltage power supply 0.6 A, Type C.
If a fusible link is used, a suitable approved (UL / IEC) fuse holder has to be used.
