Adjusting the Altitude

Use Adjust Altitude to adjust the altitude to match that of the location where the printer is installed.
If the altitude setting is incorrect, it can cause print-quality problems.
To adjust the altitude:
1. At the printer control panel, press Menu.
Note: To navigate through the menu, use the arrow buttons.
Navigate to Admin Menu, then press OK.

3. Navigate to Image Quality, then press OK.
4. Navigate to Altitude Adjustmt, then press OK.
To select the altitude of the location of the printer, press the arrow buttons, then press OK.

6. To return the printer to Ready, press Menu.

Performing an Engine Cleaning Procedure

When a printer sits idle for an extended time, it can result in visible background toner on prints.
The Engine Cleaning procedure is used to reduce background toner on prints.
To perform an engine cleaning procedure:
At the printer control panel, press Menu.

2. Navigate to Admin Menu, then press OK.
Navigate to Engine Cleaning, then press OK.
3.
4. At the prompt, press OK.
5. When the process is complete, the printer displays Cleaning is finished.
To return the printer to Ready, press Menu.
