Setting the Tray Mode
Tray mode determines if you are prompted to confirm or modify paper settings when you load paper in
the tray. Tray mode also defines how the printer behaves when a paper conflict or mismatch occurs.
To enable Bypass Mode:
At the printer control panel, press Menu.

To navigate through the menu, use the arrow buttons.

Navigate to Admin Menu, then press OK.
Navigate to Printer Settings, then press OK.

Navigate to Bypass Mode, then press OK.
Navigate to On, then press OK. When On, the Bypass Tray is set as the default tray for all print jobs

without a specified tray.
To return the printer to Ready, press Menu.

To configure tray-prompt modes:

Navigate to the desired mode:

Allow Change This mode prompts you to confirm or modify paper tray settings when paper is
loaded in a tray.

No Attrib. Change This mode hides paper tray attribute prompts.
Press OK.

To return the printer to Ready, press Menu.
