Performing modem communication

Ensure that the modem and PC etc. are connected,
remove the phone's earphone/microphone terminal
cap and connect the communication cable.

Dial the phone number of the communication partner for this data
communication.

After the communication partner responds, the PC etc. carries out
the data transfer.

When you want to terminate the communication, press

• You may not be able to communicate correctly if the signal is weak or the signal
status is bad. Use modem in places where the signal condition is good.
• When using, keep the phone and the modem 30cm or more away from the house
telephone.
• You cannot place the call from the modem.
