USING PHONE BOOK

The phone book is very useful for storing phone numbers that you call frequently.
You can enter 14 letters for the name and you can store phone numbers with a
maximum length of 22 digits. You can register a first phone number and a second
phone number in a single phone book memory entry. There are 300 memory
entries which are numbered 000 ~ 299 and a total of 600 telephone numbers
can be stored.
Grouping entries
You can separate business from friends by categorizing entries into 5 groups.
You can change the group name (page 54).
Using marks to categorize phone numbers
You can categorize the entry's phone number so that you know whether it is a
home number, PHS, company number, or fax (there are 10 categories,

Special instructions for keeping stored data
Sometimes the data stored on your phone can be erased because of mistaken
operation, static electricity, electromagnetic noise or due to faults or repairs.
Always ensure that you keep separate records of all important information.
Incoming call name display function
When a call is received from someone who has their phone set to notifying the
other party and that number is stored in your phone's phone book, the stored
name and number will appear in the display.
In some regions, it may not be possible to use the incoming call name display
function.
Specific incoming call function
When a call is received from someone who has their phone set to notifying the
other party, you can identify the caller by selecting the type of ring-tone when the
call is received by registering a melody or vibration. See "Selecting the ring-tone
volume and type" on page 67 for information on how to set this function. You can
use this function while your phone is not set to vibration 1 ~ 3, drive function or
manner mode.
