Registering a password number (F71)
When setting or canceling dial locks or phone book locks, you must input a password
number.
The password number is a 4 digit number that is required to prevent others using
your phone without your permission. The password number that is registered
here does not appear in the display so please be careful not to forget it.

You cannot register "0000" for the password number.
If you make a mistake, press

confirmation appears.

When you want to change your registered password
Input the password number registered after Step 1 and press
number matches, the screen for Step 2 will appear. Input the new password
number and press

• If the password number does not match when you input it again, the screen for
inputting the password number will return. This time input the correct password
number.
• If you set "0000" for the new password, the password number will be cancelled.
