COMAND display
Displaying fuel consumption and
generated electric power
The COMAND display indicates the fuel
consumption and the generated electric
power for the last 15 minutes of driving.

System Settings
Operating mode
The electric drive functions as a generator,
for example when coasting or braking. The
kinetic energy of the vehicle is converted into
electric power and stored in the high-voltage
battery. The fuel-cell can be active or inactive
at this time.
The arrows that indicate the flow of energy
are green.
Boost effect – the high-voltage battery
supports the fuel-cell when accelerating.
Depending on the required power and
accelerator pedal position, the arrows that
indicate the flow of energy are white or red
(full throttle).
Driving off – the high-voltage battery
delivers power to the electric drive that
drives the vehicle.
The arrows that indicate the flow of energy
are green.
Driving – the fuel-cell delivers power to the
electric drive that drives the vehicle.
The arrows that indicate the flow of energy
are white.
