(5) Removing Air Conditioner Pipes

Discharging Refrigerant Gas
Refer to "5. CHECKING AND CHARGING REFRIGERANT
CYCLE" at "10. CABIN" section.
Battery, Skirt and Bonnet
1. Open the bonnet (1) and disconnect the battery negative cable
(2).
2. Disconnect the head light connector (5) and remove the bonnet
cylinders (4).
3. Remove the skirts (3) L.H. and R.H..
4. Remove the bonnet (1).
NOTE
• When disconnecting the battery cords, disconnect the
negative cord first, when connecting, positive cord first.

High Pressure Hose 1
1. Disconnect the high pressure hose 1 (2) from the compressor
(1) and condenser (3), then cap the open fittings immediately to
keep moisture out of the system.
(When reassembling)
• Apply compressor oil (DENSO ND-OIL 8 or equivalent) to the
O-rings and take care not to damage them.
