Click OK.
The Calibrating front side... dialog box appears and
scanning begins. Wait while the software and scanner
performs front side calibration.

If you get an error message, use the table below to
take the necessary corrective action. When you are
done, click Resume.
Open scanner, remove obstruction and rescan.
Open scanner, remove sheets and rescan.
Check for proper calibration sheet and that it is
aligned properly. Rescan.
Clean imaging guide(s) or rollers and rescan.
Clean rollers and rescan.

When calibration for the front side is complete, the
Verifying calibration for the front side... dialog box
appears and the scanner scans more sheets. Wait while
the verification takes place.
If the input tray empties and the Input hopper
NOTE:
empty message box appears, take the sheets from
the output tray, tap them on a hard surface to align
them, and then place them back in the input tray
the same way you last loaded them. When you are
ready, click Retry.

When the front side calibration is complete, the Step
2 of 2... dialog box appears.
