Click the Content Settings tab.

Select Custom from the Sensitivity drop-down list.

Click Done to return to the image settings window.
10.
Select Both: Black and White (1-bit) from the Side
drop-down list.
11.
Adjust any other black and white image settings on the
rest of the tabs in the image settings window.
12.
When finished, click Home to return to the Main
Scanner window then click Save to save your
selections to the shortcut.
