When MPEG-2 Layer II Encoder is selected, the following parameters can be set:
•
Audio PID: The Packet ID for the audio elementary stream can be indicated in this field.
•
Data Format and Data Rate: Data format options include Mono and Stereo. Data rates from
64 to 384 kbps are selectable for stereo and data rates from 32 to 192 kbps are selectable for
mono.
•
Source Channel 1: User can select any channel from a list of 16 channels.
•
Source Channel 2: User can select any channel from a list of 16 channels.
•
ISO 639 descriptor: ISO_639_descriptor is a set of standards by the International Organization
for Standardization that is concerned with representation of names for language and language
groups. To enable ISO_639_descriptor check the checkbox near ISO_639_descriptor control
and type the name of the language.
When Dolby Pulse Encoding is selected, the parameters shown in Figure 7-6 can be set.
