OVERVIEW

The 9780SLKE2-H264HD is designed to deliver high quality H.264 encoded video streams to the
IPTV network.
The 9780SLKE2-H264HD offers the following features:

Dual MPEG2/H.264/AVC encoding of HD-SDI or SD-SDI signals
•
MPEG-1 Layer II audio encoding or Dolby Pulse (optional)
•
Compact 1RU design
•
Configuration via HTTP web interface or via SNMP
The 9780SLKE2-H264HD can accept up to two HD-SDI or SD-SDI video signals with or without
embedded audio and apply exceptional H.264 or MPEG2 encoding to produce a superior mpeg over
IP output stream. The streaming output can be configured as either unicast or multicast delivery.
The configuration of the device is fully flexible allowing the user to configure various encoding
parameters including bitrate, GOP size, visual filter effects, network interface, and more. This device
can also de-embed the audio from the incoming video signal and apply MPEG-2 Layer II encoding or
optional Dolby Pulse encoding for up to 8 audio services.
The 9780SLKE2-H264HD has a dedicated control port that offers a built-in web server for quick and
easy configuration. The user can also store up to four unique profiles for recall at the touch of a
button. The 9780SLKE2-H264HD occupies 1RU and offers dual power supplies.
