SERIAL INTERFACE

The serial interface of the encoder can be used to configure the IP addresses.
1. Connect serial interface on the back of the Encoder to Tera Term. Connection
parameters are illustrated in Figure 5-1.
2. Press enter. You will see a login prompt like this debian3480 login.
Use "customer" for both login ID and password.
3. Once you are logged in, you will see the following menu:
Eth3 settings
address: 192.168.192.28
netmask: 255.255.255.0
gateway: 192.168.192.1
DHCP IS TURNED OFF
1) Change IP
2) Change netmask
3) Change gateway
4) Turn DHCP ON/OFF
5) Change ethernet to read
6) Run eth_mod1.sh
7) Run eth_mod2.sh
8) APPLY AND EXIT
9) EXIT
