Guidelines and certificates
Wi-Fi special regulations for Germany and France
For the DLT-V83 with Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n, the following restrictions apply:
− In Germany, Wi-Fi 5 GHz band: 5.15 GHz – 5.35 GHz may only be used indoors.
− In France, Wi-Fi operation outdoors is only permitted in the 2454 – 2483.5 MHz range at max.
10 mW EIRP.

Eco-design directive (2009/125/EC)

DLT-V83 industrial PCs with an AC power supply unit meet the requirements of the Eco-design
directive (2009/125/EC), which prescribes environmentally friendly design for products involved in
energy consumption.
19.6.

CE marking

The devices of the DLT-V83 series were tested and fulfill the CE conformity requirements and
carry the CE mark on the rear side of the device.
19.7.

CCC, SRRC China

Several DLT-V83 models are CCC- and SRRC-certified and carry the respective mark on the
device label.

MIC Japan (previously TELEC)

In several DLT-V83 models, the PE15N PCI Express Mini Card from Laird is used. Laird has
implemented the following MIC certifications for this:
− Article 2 Item 19, Category WW (2.4 GHz Channels 1 - 13)
− Article 2 Item 19-2, Category GZ (2.4 GHz Chanel 14)
− Article 2 Item 19-2, Category XW (5150-5250 W52 & 5250-5350 W53)
− Article 2 Item 19-2, Category YW (5470-5725 W56)
