Media shift motor removal

1.
Remove the rear RIP card cover. See
2.
Remove the rear motor cover. See
3.
Remove the top rear cover. See
4.
Open the printer left door assembly.
5.
Remove the standard exit top cover. See
6.
Open the printer front door assembly.
7.
Remove the front left cover. See
8.
Remove the exit 1 media shift assembly. See
9.
Disconnect the connector from the media shift motor (A).
10.
Remove the two screws securing the media shift motor (A) to the exit 1 media shift assembly (B).
11.
Remove the media shift motor (A).
A
Note: Before reinstalling, secure the media shift motor (A) harness to the clamps on the exit 1 media shift
assembly (B) to prevent damage.
