Once the rotor reaches 1/3 of the maximum rotor speed (5000 RPM) and the precool
temperature value is reached and remains stable for one minute, the program ends with the
indication
NOTE
If the precooling program is selected and then deselected without actually being started, the set
temperature will be reset to the old value. If, however, the precooling run is started, the limited set
temperature will also be used for the following runs, but it will not be saved in the program.

Setting Acceleration and Deceleration Rates

Microfuge 20 series centrifuges feature two acceleration rates — fast and soft (or slow), and two
deceleration rates — fast and soft (or slow). See below for actual times of fast and soft acceleration
and deceleration by rotor.
