Uncoded ignition system
When the ignition system has not been coded yet, the
engine can be run at a maximum of 2,000 rpm. Any
attempt to rev up causes the engine to misfire.
To code the system, use the MASTER (brown) and
SERVICE (black) keys according to the following pro-
cedure:
Insert the MASTER key, turn the ignition switch to
"ON" and maintain this position for 2 seconds (mini-
mum 1 second, maximum to 3 seconds).
Insert all the black keys available in succession, each
time turning the ignition switch to "ON" for 2 seconds.
- Insert the MASTER key again and turn it to "ON" for
2 seconds.
The time needed to change keys should not exceed 10
seconds.
A maximum of 7 service (black) keys can be coded in
the same coding session. It is essential to observe the
sequence and time limits as described above, other-
wise the procedure will have to be restarted from the
beginning.
Once the control unit has been coded, an unbreakable
relation is created between the control unit and the
MASTER key transponder.
This relation allows new service keys to be coded in
case of loss, replacement, etc. Each new storing opera-
tion cancels the previous one.
Should the service keys lose their coding, carefully
check the operation of the high-voltage system.
Shielded cap resistance: ~ 5,000 Q
The use of resistive spark plugs is recommended (see
figure).

Cuando la instalación de encendido no está codificada,
permite el funcionamiento del motor, pero limitado a
2000 rpm probando a acelerar se advierte una evidente
perdida de fuerza.
Para codificar la instalación es necesario utilizar la llave
MASTER (color marrón) y SERVICIO (color negro)
como se indica a continuación:
- Introducir la llave MASTER, conmutador en "ON" y
mantener esta posición durante 2 segundos (valores
límite: 1 ÷ 3 segundos).
- Introducir alternativamente todas las llaves negras
disponibles conmutando cada llave en "ON" durante
2 segundos.
- Introducir nuevamente la llave MASTER conmutan-
do en "ON" durante 2 segundos.
El tiempo máximo disponible para pasar de una llave a
otra es de 10 segundos.
En la misma memorización se acepta un número
máximo de 7 llaves de servicio (color negro). Es indis-
pensable respetar la secuencia y los tiempos, en caso
contrario repetir desde el inicio el procedimiento.
Una vez que se ha efectuado la codificación de la
central, se crea un acoplamiento inseparable entre la
central y el trasponder de la llave MASTER.
Manteniendo este acoplamiento, es posible realizar
nuevas memorizaciones de las llaves de servicio por
extravío, sustituciones, etc. Cada memorización nueva
elimina la anterior.
Cuando se produzca una pérdida de la memorización
de las llaves de servicio, es indispensable verificar
cuidadosamente la eficiencia de la instalación de alta
tensión:
Resistencia capuchón protegido ~ 5000
En todo caso, se recomienda el empleo de bujías
resistivas como en la figura.
