Make necessary settings.
Make various settings as needed.
Note:
• When printing "2 in 1", the following settings can
be made for each original:
– Image Processing mode ( p.44)
– Scanning Contrast ( p.45)
– Size ( p.46)
– Dot Process ( p.51)

Press the
Starts scanning of the original.
A proof copy is printed once the data is pro-
cessed.
When placing on the Stage Glass

A beep will indicate the pause for the Multi-
Up Interval. Place the second original, make
any necessary settings, and press the

• If you do not press the
Multi-Up Interval time, the half of the print will
be blank.
When placing in the ADF unit
(Option)

Interval. Scan of the second original starts
automatically.

Place two originals stacked in the tray. Press

If second original requires different settings
than the first, place the first original in the
ADF unit, then press the

Important!:
• Either Stage Glass or ADF unit may be used
at one time, but not both. If the first scan is
made from an original on the Stage Glass,
the second one must also be scanned on the
Stage Glass, and vice versa.
Note:
• If there exists an original in the ADF unit
when "Auto-Process" is "ON", 2 in 1 printing
is sequentially performed.

Enter the number of copies using the
Print Quantity Keys.
The specified number is displayed on the Print
Quantity Display.
Note:
• To change the number, press the
then re-enter the correct number.
