INSTALLING THE EXHAUST PIPE AND
MUFFLER
1. Install:
• Gasket "1"
New
(muffler side)
ECB01640
NOTICE
Be careful not to damage the muffler contact
surface of the gasket.
TIP
Install the gasket completely onto the exhaust
pipe "2" by pushing the side "a" of the gasket. If
the gasket is difficult to install, tap lightly on the
gasket with a soft-face hammer.

• Muffler mount "1"
Installed length "a"

3. Install:
• Springs "1"
TIP
Install the springs so that the spring ends are
pointing inward as shown in the illustration.
