"a".
Out of specification → Replace the steering
knuckle.
Ball joint bore inside diameter
32.90–32.95 mm (1.295–1.297 in)

e. Attach the special tools and a new ball joint
"5" to the steering knuckle "4".
TIP
• Always use a new ball joint.
• Do not tap or damage the top of the ball joint or
rubber boot.

f. Hold the base plate "10" in place while turning
in the long bolt "6" to install the new ball joint
"5" into the steering knuckle "4".
g. Remove the special tools.
h. Install a new circlip.
