- BRAKE PADS: Check the wear – Renew if
necessary
- BRAKE LEVER CABLES: Check condition
- BRAKE LEVERS AND THROTTLE TWIST
GRIP: Check the correct operation and
free play
- WHEELS: Check the correct tension of the
spokes
- BRAKE FLUID: Check the level – Top up if
necessary
- FUEL PIPES: Check for possible cracks
- Check for possible fluid leaks (petrol, oil,
coolant, brake fluid)
Electrical
- ELECTRIC FAN AND THERMAL SWITCH
Check operation
- FRONT HEADLIGHT: Adjust the beam
height
- BATTERY: Check state of charge – Char-
ge if necessary
- CONTROL ELEMENTS: Check the correct
operation
- LIGHTS: Check the operation of the
mechanisms and the correct functioning of
the bulbs/LEDs
- HORN: Check its correct operation
General
- FINAL CHECK: Carry out an on-road test
drive, paying attention to the general ope-
ration of the brakes, steering, clutch, sus-
pensions, engine, lighting and instrument
panel lights

Engine and transmission
- SPARK PLUG: Change
- EXHAUST SYSTEM: Check the correct
tightness of the bolts and clamps
- ENGINE SUPPORT BOLTS: Check nomi-
nal torque tightness
- SECONDARY TRANSMISSION: : Check
the condition of the chain, sprocket and
plate – Change if they have reached the
end of their useful live Note 2
- VALVE CLEARANCE

- BRAKE CALLIPERS AND DISKS: Check
nominal torque tightness
- SWINGING ARM SHAFT: Check for
absence of play and nominal torque tight-
ness
- WHEELS: Check bearing play and the
nominal torque tightness of the shaft
- STEERING SHAFT: Check for absence of
play – Adjust if necessary
- GENERAL NUTS AND BOLTS: Check
nominal torque tightness
- PROP STAND AND/OR CENTRE STAND:

vely at full throttle or in very dusty or damp
areas.
Note 2 SPROCKET, PLATE AND DRIVE
CHAIN: In the event of any of the 3 compo-
nents reaching the end of their useful life,
the 3 must be changed at the same time.
