The following is a list of Alias Sheet dialog box function keys (L1 to L11 and
B1 to B7) and a description of how they are used.

In the Alias Sheet dialog box, use the following principles to enter alias
attributes.
Entry Method
• Press the B1 (Next) key, or hold down the SHIFT key and press the B1
(Prev) key to select the attribute that you want to set. For detailed attribute
settings, use the MULTI CONTROL knob to enter values.
• The duration and end time are linked. If you set one, the other is set
automatically.
• When the material name, IN point, OUT point, or duration are selected with
the cursor, the material specified at the port currently the subject of operation
is opened and you can set the IN and OUT points using the IN/OUT button.
• When the settings of the file name, IN point, OUT point, or port are invalid,
the display flashes and the screen cannot be closed by pressing the B7 (OK)
key.
Description
Moves the cursor to the alias name.
Moves the cursor to the foreground material name (FG
Material).
Moves the cursor to the background material name (BG
Material).
Moves the cursor to the foreground material IN point.
Moves the cursor to the foreground material OUT point.
Moves the cursor to the foreground material duration.
Moves the cursor to the foreground material port.
Moves the cursor to the background material IN point.
Moves the cursor to the background material OUT point.
Moves the cursor to the background material port.
Moves the cursor to the background material port.
Selects the next attribute of the alias currently the
subject of operation.
Opens the dialog box allowing to rename the alias
currently the subject of operation.
Closes the Alias Sheet dialog box without saving the
current settings.
Closes the Alias Sheet dialog box and saves the current
settings.
Selects the previous attributeof the alias currently the
subject of operation.
