3-1-1 Over view of the Current P ort Area

3-1-2 Display Items

This section describes display items common to the operating modes
(Material mode and CP Setup mode) of the control panel, in the current
port area of the liquid crystal display.
The current port area displays the same information regardless of the
operating mode of the control panel, and principally shows the operating
status of the port to which operations currently apply. Additionally it shows
important information about the system as a whole.
The items displayed in the current port area are as follows.

Information displayed
Current port
This is the name of the port to which operations

currently apply.
Material name
This is the name of the material currently assigned

to the current port.
Position status
Indicates the position of the current port material.

PB.EE
Displays the current PB.EE settings and the monitor
status.
Timecode type
This shows whether the time data is TC or UB, and

whether there is a TCG value or a read-out value.
Remain mode
Specifies whether to indicate the remaining system

disk capacity or the remaining time of the material
assigned to port.
Remain time
Displays the remaining time of the material assigned

to port currently the subject of operation or the
remaining system disk capacity.
Picture quality
Displays whether the material is recorded in

HDCAM format.
Remote/local
Indicates whether the current port is in the remote

state or the local state.

Current status
This is the current status of the current port material.
Loop mode
Indicates the loop mode of the current port material.

Rec Inhibit
Lights when recording on the current port is inhibited
by the MAV-777 or external device setup.

Displays the status of timer events.
