Editing monitor
During editing, you can monitor the images and signals below from the
monitor that is connected to the MAV-777, the same way as for preview.
Notes
Edit operations depend on menu item 2002: Auto Edit Emulation (page 3-36)
settings in CP Setup mode. When using Auto Edit Emulation, the followings
are displayed on the monitor.
• From the preroll point to the IN point: ....... recorder playback image
• From the IN point to the OUT point: .......... player playback image
• From the OUT point to the postroll point: .. recorder playback image
After executing the edit, you can confirm the edit result of the edit interval
(Review).
To review, press the REVIEW button before you begin the next edit after
editing. With the REVIEW button lit, you can review the edit. The
RECORDER button goes out.
You can cut out part of a material and use it as a new material.
Note
Video and Audio cannot be cut out separately.

Load the material that contains the material that you want to cut.
For details about how to load and unload materials, see Section 3-2-6, "Loading
and Unloading Material (LOAD/UNLOAD)" (page 3-7).

Define the part of the material that you want to cut with an IN point and
OUT point.
For details about how to set edit points, see Section 6-2-6, "Setting the Edit
Points" (page 6-8).
