3.7 CONNECTING THE PRINTER TO THE PC

In this section, the procedure to connect the printer to the PC is explained.
3.7.1 System requirements
For details about the system requirements, please refer to the documentation of the RIP software of your
choice.
3.7.2 Selecting cables
The printer is equipped with a network interface and a USB interface to connect it with a PC.
A network interface cable or an USB cable is required to connect the PC with the printer.

The USB connection is reserved for service technicians only.
3.7.3 Connecting network interface cable
To connect the printer to your PC with a network interface cable, follow the 4 steps below.
Step 1 : Switch OFF both the printer and the PC.
Step 2 : Plug the network interface cable (1) into the network interface connector (2) located at the back
of the printer.
