STEE RING COLUMNRemoving-refitting
Proceed as follows to remove the steering
column:
1. Remove the left foot rest located beside
the clutch pedal.
2. Unscrew bolt retaining the lower steering
column shaft to the power steering box
pinion.
3. Disconnect the ignition connector.
4. Remove the lower junction unit protec­
tion.
5. Remove the steering column reinforce­
ment bar by unscrewing the retaining
bolts indicated in figure.
