1. Disconnect the connector for the revers­
ing lights switch and the earth cable.
2. Acting on the nut (1) and the lock nut (2),
disconnect the clutch cable from the con­
trol lever.
3. Disconnect the end of the gear engage­
ment cable and undo the bolts fixing the
mounting bracket.
4. Disconnect the end of the gear selection
cable, then move the selection and en­
gagement cables to the side of the engine
compartment.
5. Undo the upper bolts (1) fixing the gear­
box to the engine and the bolt (2) fixing
the starter motor to the gearbox.
