• Remove the gearshift lever N.
NOTE:
Mark the gearshift shaft head at which the gearshift lever slit set
for correct reinstallation.
• Remove the engine sprocket cover O.
• Remove the front chain guide plate P.
• Remove the drive chain clip Q, and release the drive chain.
• Remove the snap ring R and engine sprocket S.

• Remove the engine mounting front brackets T, left and right.
• Remove the engine mounting upper brackets U, left and
right.
• Remove the engine mounting bolt and nut V.
• Remove the swingarm pivot shaft nut and washer.
• Extract three quarters of the swingarm pivot shaft so as to
keep the swingarm in position.
NOTE:
The swingarm will come off when the swingarm pivot shaft is
completely removed.
• Remove the engine from the frame.
