ENGINE IDLE SPEED ADJUSTMENT/
THROTTLE CABLE FREE PLAY ADJUSTEMENT
6. Adjust :
• Engine idle speed

Adjustment steps :
• Turn the throttle stop screw in or out until
specified idling speed is obtained.
Turning left
Turning right

• Throttle cable free play
Out of specification © Adjust.
Free play :
1,0 ~ 3,0 mm (0.04 ~ 0.19 in)

Throttle cable free play adjustment steps :
NOTE:
Before adjusting the throttle cable free play, the
engine idle speed should be adjusted.
First step :
• Loosen the locknut on the throttle cable.
• Turn the adjuster in or out until the specified
free play is obtained.
Turning left
Turning right
• Tighten the locknuts.
WARNING
After adjusting, turn the handlebar to the
right and left, making sure that the engine
idling speed does not change.
