4. Remove :
• Master cylinder dust boot Q
• Master cylinder kit W

INSPECTION AND REPAIR

Recommended brake component replacement
schedule :
Brake pads
Piston seal,
Dust seal
Brake hoses
Brake fluid
WARNING
All internal parts should be cleaned in new
brake fluid only. Do not use solvents as they
will cause seals to swell and distort.
1. Inspect :
• Caliper piston Q
Scratches/Rust/Wear © Replace caliper
assembly.
• Caliper body W
Wear/Scratches/Cracks/Damage © Replace
caliper assembly.
WARNING

Replace the piston seals whenever the caliper
is disassembled.
2. Inspect :
• Master cylinder
Wear/Scratches © Replace the master
cylinder assembly.
• Master cylinder body/Diaphragm
Cracks/Damage © Replace.
• Master cylinder kit
Scratches/Wear/Damage © Replace as a set.
