3.Spark plug cap resistance
• Disconnect the spark plug cap.
• Connect the pocket tester (Ω x 1 k) to the
spark plug cap.
• Check the resistance of the spark plug cap.

4.Ignition coil resistance
• Disconnect the ignition coil leads.
• Connect the pocket tester (Ω x 1) to the
ignition coil.
Ignition coil :
Pocket tester (+) lead © Orange
Pocket tester (-) lead © Ground
• Check the primary coil resistance.
Primary coil resistance :
Ω
0.32 ~ 0.48
• Connect the pocket tester (Ω x 1k) to the
ignition coil.
Pocket tester (+) lead © Ground
Pocket tester (-) lead © Spark plug lead
• Check the secondary coil resistance.
Secondary coil resistance :
Ω
5.68 ~ 8.52k
