Click the Max to Max IVR Config link on the Site Map
page or on the sidebar menu to access the Max-to-Max
IVR Configuration Table, illustrated below in Figure 22.

Configuring Max-to-Max Calling

NOTE:
Callers may access a port on a remote Max 410/420/430
from another Max device (Max-to-Max) by dialing *72
followed by the receiving port's virtual number, which is
the first ten digits of its account number.
If the receiving port is an FXS port, the telephone
connected to the port will ring.
If the LAN to which either Max is
connected employs a firewall, you
need to configure settings on both the
Max unit and the firewall before you
can place Max-to-Max calls. For
information about configuring a
firewall, refer to Configuring Firewalls
on page 32 in this Guide.
In Max-to-Max calling, the receiving
port's Account Information table
settings must be configured to permit
it to receive calls. For details, refer to
Receiving Max-to-Max Calls on page
45 in this Guide.
