When Moving the Unit

Procedures from Preparing to Move Through Reinstalling

To move the machine, you must completely drain all ink inside the machine and secure the print heads in
place with packing materials to protect them. Attempting to move the machine without first doing this may
result in damage to internal components due to leaking ink or damage to the heads.
Work differs depending on ink type in use. Refer to a Table shown below.

* Contact your authorized Roland DG Corp. dealer with regard to items that need to be purchased separately.
Important
Make sure to use a cleaning cartridge corresponding to ink type. Use of wrong cartridge may cause a machine
malfunction.

Open the Utility window.

Chapter 3 Maintenance
Required work
When the machine can be reinstalled and
power can be switched on within one
week after the work.
 Pump Ink
When it takes one week or more after
the work until the machine can be rein-
stalled and power can be switched on.

(Purchase all items separately.)

cartridge separately.)

In the [Option] tab, click [Pump ink] or [Head
Wash].
Select a proper work referring to the Table above.
Carry forward the work by following the instructions
displayed on the screen. Do not switch off power during
operation until the work is completed.
