SLT ADAPTER

4.15.1

Using the SLT Adapter (Figure 4-24 - Figure 4-26)

The SLT Adapter converts a digital port from an ESIU blade into an analog port which can be used for
connecting on-premise 2500 type single line devices (i.e., terminals, fax machines, modems, etc.). Each SLT
Adapter requires its own digital port.
● The SLT Adapter supports Caller ID if provided by the telco.
The SLT Adapter provides the ring generator circuit used by the analog device. The unit provides constant
current which is fixed at 47 mA.
