DEMONSTRATION CONFIGURATION

This section shows how to download and use the configuration file, auto attendant messages,
and audio file. It then shows how to set up voicemail for extension 111.

Downloading files

1. Log in to the reseller site at www.talkswitch.com/reseller_program/resources/
selling_tools.asp.
2. Download the following files:
Configuration file TS_Demonstration_Config_6.00.tsd. Alternatively, you can create
the configuration file using the settings described in the following pages.
Auto attendant message ABC_Main_AA1.wav. Alternatively, you can record your own
auto attendant message.
Auto attendant message ABC_Branch_AA2.wav. Alternatively, you can record your own
auto attendant message.
3. Go to www.talkswitch.com/musiconhold/ and then download an audio file for music on
hold. Alternatively, you can use your own 8 kHz, 8 bit, mono, µ-law .wav file, or you can use
an external audio source connected to the MUSIC jack.

Loading the configuration file

1. Power up the system.
2. Start the TalkSwitch management software. The Configuration Selection page appears.
3. Click Open a Configuration File or Template. The Open File or Template window appears.
4. Click Open a File. The Configuration File window appears.
5. Browse to TS_Demonstration_Config_6.00.tsd, and then click Open. The About page
appears, showing the configuration from the file.
6. Choose File > Save To > Location. The Location window appears.
7. Select the system, and then click OK. The system saves the configuration to the
TalkSwitch units.
8. Choose File > Close. The Configuration Selection page appears.
9. Click Configure Auto-Detected TalkSwitch System. The About page appears, showing the
configuration from the TalkSwitch units.

Loading the auto attendant messages

The auto attendant messages accompany the auto attendants described in Auto attendants on
page 21.
The ABC_Main_AA1.wav file accompanies auto attendant 1. It says "Welcome to the ABC
company. If you know your party's extension, please dial it now. For sales inquiries, press 1. For
technical support, press 2. To reach our branch office location, press 3. For all other inquiries,
press 0."
