Movable driven face spring
• Measure the spring free length A using the vernier calipers.
• If the length is shorter than the service limit, replace the spring
with a new one.
% Movable driven face spring free length:
Service Limit: 123.5 mm
$ 09900-20102: Vernier calipers
Drive V-belt
• Check that the drive V-belt is free from any greasy substance.
• Check the contact surface for crack or other damage.
• Measure the width of the belt using the vernier calipers.
If the measurement exceeds the service limit or crack or other
damage exists, replace the belt with a new one.
% Service Limit: 21.4 mm

If grease or oil is present on the surface, degrease the
belt thoroughly.
Driven face
• Inspect the driven face surface for stepped wear. If any
defects are found, replace if with a new one.
Movable driven pin and roller
• Inspect the movable driven pins and rollers for abnormal wear
or damage. If any defects are noted, replace the pin and/or
roller with new ones.
