the same temporary shared key as step 6 in the previous procedure. Click Next.
The IP Filter List screen displays.

Make sure the All ICMP Traffic checkbox is marked. Click Next.
The Filter Action screen displays.

Mark the Permit checkbox. Click Next.
The Completing the New Rule Wizard screen displays.

Make sure the Edit properties checkbox is marked. Click Done.
The New Rule Properties screen displays.

Make sure the All ICMP Traffic checkbox is marked. Click OK.

Make sure the All IP Traffic, Dynamic and All ICMP Traffic checkboxes are marked,.
Click Close. Close the Local Security Settings window.
Using the preset IP security for Windows 2000

Click Start, Settings, Control Panel, Network and then Dial-up Connections.

Right click on Properties for the Local Area Connection for which IPSEC is to be
enabled.

Select Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) and then Properties. When TCP/IP Properties
opens, select Advanced.
