Internal Battery

The lithium battery on the server board powers the real time clock (RTC) for up to 5 years
in the absence of power. When the battery weakens, the server settings stored in CMOS
RAM in the RTC (for example, the date and time) might be incorrect. Contact your
customer service representative or dealer for a list of approved devices.
WARNING: The danger of explosion exists if the battery is incorrectly replaced.
Replace the battery with the same or equivalent type of battery as recommended
by the equipment manufacturer. Discard used batteries according to the battery
manufacturer's instructions.
Observe the following guidelines when replacing the battery:
Do not charge, disassemble, or remove the battery electrode.
Do not incinerate the battery or expose it to excessive heat.
Store the battery in a cool, dry place.
When disposing of the battery, adhere to company policy and local government rules
and regulations.
Fit the battery with the electrodes (+/-) correctly oriented. Otherwise you risk causing
heat, an explosion, or a fire.
To ensure proper system operation, replace the battery with one of the same type.
