3 Set up the Ether 2 on the sub-screen that appears by selecting Protocol tab then
Properties. If the protocol you want is not installed, set it up after adding the protocol
by selecting the Protocol tab then Add.

Installing the VIA 4in1 Driver
To change the transfer mode of the CD-ROM drive interface, you must install the VIA
4in1 driver. But before installing the VIA 4in1 driver, you must install the Windows NT
Service Pack (above Service Pack 6).
After Windows NT Service Pack installation, follow the steps below:
1 Start Windows NT Server 4.0, and log onto Windows NT Server 4.0 as the
Administrator (or a user having equivalent rights).
2 Insert the SST CD-ROM.
3 Execute setup.exe under the following directory path (use Explorer):
<CD-ROM>\PUBLIC\UTILS\VIA\VIA4IN1
4 Install the VIA 4-in-1 driver by following the instructions that appear on screen.
5 Select Start, Programs, VIA DMA TOOL, and then the check boxes in the Current
Setting dialog box.
6 Select Reboot to restart the server.
NOTE: When using the SCSI HDD or SCSI RAID, the SCSI device is displayed on
the DMA tool utility screen. You cannot set up the SCSI device.
Selecting the Display Driver
NOTE: Before updating the display driver, be sure to install Windows NT Service
Pack 6 and VIA 4in1 driver (in that order) first. After updating the display deriver,
you must restart the system before changing the video driver, without making any
changes to the video settings, or performing diagnostic tests.
If you want the computer display to be in SVGA mode or above, you must change the
video driver from the retail driver included in the Windows NT CD-ROM to the video
driver included in the SST CD-ROM. Before changing the display driver, you must install
the Windows NT Service Pack (above Service pack 6).
