Reads data at random addresses.
11. SAF-TE Test
Tests the SAF-TE function and the status LED on the hard disk drives.
1 Use the arrow keys to highlight 11. SAF-TE Test on the Diagnostic Test menu.
2 Press Enter.
The following screen displays:
3 Using the arrow keys, select the SAF-TE test.
01. SAF-TE test
Detects the SAF-TE controller and checks the operation by flashing the LED for
each hard disk drive.
a The test detects the SAF-TE controller first and shows the connecting
destination of the detected SAF-TE controller (host number, SCSI ID and
channel number) with model name.

b After detecting the SAF-TE controller, the following message displays:
SAF-TE LED Steady ON (Faulty Flag)
Check that all LEDs on the hard disk drives are lit orange.
c Press Enter. The following message displays:
SAF-TE LED Blinking (Rebuilding Flag)
Check that all LEDs on the hard disk drives are flashing orange.
d Press Enter. The following message displays:
SAF-TE LED Steady On (Rebuild Interrupted)
Check that all LEDs on the hard disk drives are lit orange.
e Press Enter. The following message displays:
SAF-TE LED Blinking (Rebuilding Flag)
Check that all LEDs on the hard disk drives are flashing orange.
f Press Enter. The following message displays:
SAF-TE LED Reset (No Error Flag)
