5 Push the new hard disk drive into the slot.

8 Connect the power cable and switch on the server.
NOTE: The OS settings or application software may have to be changed when a
hard disk drive is added.
9 Recover (rebuild) the disk. See
for more information.
CAUTION: The failure of other devices may destroy and lose programs or data.
Replace a faulty device as quickly as possible, and recover the disk array.
