Click Start, Settings, Control Panel and then double-clicking Network.

Select the Protocol tab, and open the properties of the adapter that was added at
AFT/ALB from among the displayed TCP/IP protocol, and set the IP address and
other network settings.

Restart the server.
Setting IPSEC on Windows 2000
Create the IP security policy for Windows 2000 by following the steps below.

Click Start, Settings, Control Panel, then click Administrative Tools. Click Local
security policy to open the Local Security Policy screen.

Right click Create IP Security Policy with Security Settings, IP Security Policy on
Local Machine.
The Welcome to the IP Security Policy Wizard screen displays.

Click Next.

Input the name of the Policy to be created. Click Next.
The Request for Secure Communication screen displays.

Be certain sure the Activate the default response rule checkbox is marked, and click
Next.
The Default Response Rule Authentication Method screen displays.

Check the Use this string to protect the key exchange (pre-shared key) checkbox,
and enter a temporary shared key.
NOTE: Any character string (alphabetic, numbers, symbols) of six characters or
more can be used as the temporary shared key. The temporary shared key is used
to initially determine the encryption key needed to establish communication in the
IPSEC mode. Set the same temporary shared on servers and clients that will
communicate with each other.

Click Next.
The Completing the IP Security Policy Wizard screen displays.
