Saving Your Personal Identification Number PIN

Scroll to "Changeover off?" and confirm your se-
lection.

Enter the code for "Changeover off".
From this point on, simply follow the user
prompts.

You can protect your telephone against unautho-
rized access (protecting personal data) by entering
a personal five-digit code (PIN). For details on lock-
ing and unlocking the telephone
To change your PIN, first enter the old PIN, then en-
ter the new PIN twice.
Setting/Programming Your Telephone
You can still answer external calls and con-
duct internal calls while your telephone is
in the "changeover on" state. When an at-
tempt is made to place an external call,
"Telephone lock active" appears on the
display.
