Leaving Advisory Messages

If you have programmed the "Mailbox"
Æ
key (
40), the associated LED lights up
when a message has arrived for you (also
when messages have arrived in connected
voicemail systems).
You can leave predefined advisory messages, or
ones which you have written yourself (optiset E
memory only), on the display of your telephone for
all internal callers who have a system telephone
with a display; if appropriate you can also add a se-
quence of digits to the message (date, time).
When another party calls you, the message ap-
pears on the caller's display.
Advisory message numbers with predefined mes-
sage texts. System administration can change
these texts.
0 = Will return at:
1 =On vacation until:
2 = I am out until:
3 = Out all day
4 = Out to lunch
You can add digits to messages that end
with a colon.
5 = Not available
6 = Home phone:
7 = Contact:
8 = Avail at:
9 = Am in room:
