To enable Magnetic Contact 1 you must remove the
jumper link from the S1 enable pins:

The MC1-WE has an extra input incorporated that can be used for external contacts or sensors.
Contact
The jumper pins 'Z' and 'T' should both be disabled when these are used.
Recommended maximum cable length of 10m
